AHF Georgia’s Girls Act Program is redefining education and empowerment for youth. Through regular training sessions, young people gather to learn about vital topics like sexual and reproductive health, menstruation, family planning, STI/HIV prevention, condom use, relationship safety, and addiction.
The sessions address real concerns participants face while breaking down the stigma surrounding often taboo subjects with an interactive, peer-to-peer approach. By creating a safe space for open dialogue, participants feel encouraged to share, ask questions, and learn from one another.
In addition to the inclusive approach, some sessions are specifically designed for young men, addressing gaps in knowledge about safer sex, proper condom use, and fostering respect in relationships. Targeted discussions equip male participants with tools to make healthier choices and contribute to safer, more supportive communities.
